Florals in Affinity
Floral Revisions and link to creating vase with the Stroke Width Tool
Learning…. Affinity Designer
I’m taking the MasterClass for Affinity Designer from Delores Naskrent. I’m determined to learn Affinity Designer, and I know that Delores knows all the tips and tricks and processes from other classes I’ve taken from her.
I revised the bouquet and vase from the previous post Florals in Affinity by redoing the shadow and adding the dropped flower. The shadow was created by drawing around the flowers and vase with the pencil tool, closing the shape, and filling it with black. I adjusted the nodes, then added special affects, a gaussian blur and placed the layer on Overlay mode.
I had previously mentioned how I had made the vase with a tool new to me, the Stroke Width Tool, which looks like a football. I created and embedded a video on how to create the vase with this tool. Check it out on the blog: WrapUp Stroke Width Tool.
